Trethorne Leisure has something for everyone. Trethorne has a large Restaurant, a Ten Pin Bowling Centre and all weather Leisure Park.
Our Restaurant can cater for large numbers for special occasion functions, providing delicious home cooked and locally sourced food. Every Sunday we offer a Carvery Lunch but book early as it is very popular. Many combine a family lunch with a game of bowling or visit to the leisure park to make a really special day out. Food or bowling can be booked separately.
Trethorne Leisure Conference Facilities can cater for a wide range of meeting requirements in our three suites. We have Plasma screens and Wi Fi internnet connection in each room. Refreshments are available including teas, coffees and homemade biscuits and a variety of finger buffet options plus carvery and hot buffet menus.
The Leisure Park has endless opportunities for fun and games. There is a programme of activities throughout the day allowing customers to ride ponies, bottle-feed lambs, hand milk Primrose the cow. There are special 'In touch with Animals' sessions where you can stroke some of the smaller animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ducklings and chicks.
For 2010 we have made a separate walkway entrance to the indoor play areas away from the Animal Shed, which will lead you to the following activities, Pillow Bash, Bungee Run, Ball Pools, Assault Course, Under 5's Soft Play Area, Climbing Wall, Slides, Trampolines and Jolly Rogers Ball Blaster and much more.
We have a new Under 6's play area, 'Tots Tractors', where the children can come and have a go on our ride on tractors, load up their trailers with soft foam blocks.
There is also a large outdoor park with Crazy Golf, Aerial Glide, Slides and Swings. Have fun in our Paddleboats on the lake for no extra charge! The area is enclosed for children's safety with a friendly supervisor to help. At Trethorne adults can join in the fun with their children on most equipment too. Trethorne has something for all ages and all abilities.
The Premier Bowl has 8 lanes of fully computerised ten-pin bowling providing entertainment for all kinds of occasion. There are ramps and rails to enable the youngest to the eldest to join in whatever their ability. Adjoining the lanes there is a Licensed Bar and an extended Games Room including Pool Tables, Mario Karts, Horse Racing & Deal or No Deal.
We have a well-stocked gift shop with a range of merchandise to appeal to all ages.
