Higher Trezion - Sheep

Welcome to Higher Trezion, we have a small farm with sheep in the fields, also our free-range Buff Orpington, Light Sussex and Ixworth chickens with others roaming around.

We are off the beaten track, down a quiet lane, situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor, just 1,5 miles from the A30 Atlantic Highway, with beautiful views down the Camel Valley.

Start your day with an old fashioned 'farmhouse' breakfast, juices and cereals, sausage, bacon and hogs pudding etc, all cooked on the Aga, lots of home-made bread, fresh eggs, fruit and yogurt, tea and coffee at the large table in the dining room.

We are just a short distance from the stunningly beautiful, rugged North Cornwall Coast.  Our  home is an ideal base for exploring some of the best beaches in North Cornwall for just walking or surfing.  Play golf at one of the many local courses, go horse-riding up on Bodmin Moor (we can arrange stabling for your horses).  Walk the local and coastal footpaths, not forgetting the Eden Project, Pencarrow House and all the National Trust Houses and gardens.  There are many historic and lovely Churches, including our own 14th Century Advent Church, this list of things to do is endless, we have lots of books and maps for you to borrow during your stay.  At the end of the day enjoy a relaxing meal at one of the local pubs which all offer an excellant menu.

We are sorry we do not have children

We welcome your dogs, complete with their own beds, which are allowed to sleep in your bedroom, also we can arrange stabling for your horses just 300 yards away.

The animals who live with us are Jess our border collie/spaniel dog, who if she was brave enough would round up the chickens.  The cats: Murphy who is grey all over and pops in and out for food, Bunney who is ginger and white, sleeps a lot, hunts a bit and Daisy who is marmalade and tabby, who only eats and sleeps and purrs.

The family, including the animals, offer you, our guests a warm welcome and hope you will enjoy your stay with us, in the peaceful and relaxing environment that is Higher Trezion.
