The lodge is perfectly located in the heart of the countryside and is a haven for numerous country pursuits. Within a short distance, there are beautiful signposted walks in all directions, exploring unspoilt valleys.
The village of Minions nestles on the edge of Bodmin Moor close to the famous Hurlers stone circle and Cheesewring. A pub, village store and tea room completes this moorland gem. Upton Cross and Rilla Mill Complete a trio of villages each with their own charm. Upton Cross has a post office and stores and a country pub. It also boasts the Sterts open air theatre with various arts and entertainment. Rilla Mill nestles in the valley with its historic pub The Manor. There are lovely riverside walks to be enjoyed here.
Neptune Lodge is ideally located for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer with good access to both coasts. It is only 15 miles from the historic city of Plymouth, where Brunel's famous railway bridge, alongside a more recent road bridge, cross the River Tamar at Saltash. Within short distances are the Jack Nicholas golf course at St.Mellion, fishing and water sports at Sibleyback reservoir, and the T.M. International Riding School in the village of Henwood. There is a superb clay pigeon shoot where lessons can be booked, or the serious shooter can test his skills in a number of disciplines.
Accommodation.
Neptune Lodge is recently built; detached and very spacious. There are wonderful unobstructed views into the distance to be enjoyed from the patio and the first floor balcony. A field fronts the property, and part of it is there for you to enjoy.
Ground Floor: The large living room incorporates a dining area. The kitchen is well fitted and equipped with an open hatch to the living room. Comfortable leather settees and reclining chairs feature in the lounge area. Double doors lead out to the patio. A hallway leads to Bedroom 3 Double, with an en-suit Shower room basin and WC.
First Floor: Bedroom 1 is a large room with 5' bed, en-suit Shower room with basin and WC. A door leads on to the balcony. Bedroom 2 Twin, with ample space for travel cot etc. Bathroom has a bath with shower, basin and WC. All bedrooms and bathrooms are well fitted and equipped.
Facilities: Wireless Broadband, TV, DVD, assorted toys books etc. dishwasher, washing machine, barbecue, high chair, travel cot, Oil central heating, Duvets, bed linen and towels provided.
Parking: there is ample parking space along side each lodge for 2 cars, with extra parking on site available by arrangement.
