On returning to her native Cornwall in 1980, Jane opened her saddlery workshop. Her work has evolved into all types of leather goods including fashion belts, dog collars, leads, rocking horse tack, bellows, leather boxes, cartridge bags, pouches, belts, leathering shafts and mudguards on horse drawn vehicles.
If you have an idea for a leather object Jane is the one to talk to as she is always pleased to use her skills in new ways and with, whenever possible, new designs - perhaps it will become a stock item. Church bell mufflers and mobile phone cases being examples, as is the tripod shooting stool now being used for many different uses.
