Why not relax in one of our Cornish granite stone cottages in this designated area of outstanding natural beauty. All three cottages have been converted to a very high standard, are comfortable, well equipped and with oil fired central heating. Rated 4 Star Gold by The Tourist Board. Enjoy your garden's tranquil south facing aspect, each with its own garden furniture, all set within 2 acres of grounds. All of the properties retain a number of character features including vaulted ceilings, areas of exposed stonework, open truss beamwork, farmhouse style kitchens. Ample car parking next to cottages.

We are located 10 miles north of Looe on the South East of Bodmin Moor. Ideally situated for touring Cornwall's rugged Atlantic coastline and the more gentle southern shores, local gardens, Eden Project, walks, theatre and historic monuments.

No smoking and no pets, thank you.

About us

Welcome to Badgers Holiday Cottages. Stay in one of our beautiful traditional English cottages in a stunning part of South East Cornwall. Whether you are seeking the fresh air of the countryside, a little bit of historical sightseeing or watersports at nearby Sibleyback Lake, Badgers Sett Holiday Cottages are a perfect choice for some time away. The surrounding countryside is amongst some of the most attractive in the county and is scattered with an array of interesting historical sites, including  nearby King Donierts Stone, Trethevy Quoit and a number of medieval settlements.

Our holiday cottages were converted from barns belonging to the original farmhouse, which dates back to 1640. Each cottage has been converted to a very high standard with all modern conveniences and rated 4 Star by The English Tourist Board. Completion of the cottages was in 2006. The granite stone walls of the cottages are up to 2 feet thick, the stones being collected from surrounding area. Older roof tiles are feather-edged Delabole slate from nearby Tintagel.

Externally the property has a large parking and turning area. The owners' house and holiday cottages lie nestled in a southerly facing hillside within 2 acres of grounds. Spring water is extracted from a depth of 140', and is tested regularly for purity.

There is no extra charge for heating or electricity. We will provide bed linen and 1 bath and hand towel per bedroom. There is a separate laundry facility for guests.

The nearest public transport is 2 miles.
